Bella

Bella is one of those cats who shows you just how different shelter life can be from life in a real home. Here, she's shy, quiet, and a little shut down - it's all a bit overwhelming for her. But in foster care, Bella transforms into an absolute angel.

Her foster carer reports no behavioural concerns at all. Once she feels safe, Bella actively seeks out her people for attention, pats, playtime, and of course, food (a favourite!). She's an affectionate girl who chooses to curl up on her carer's lap or chest for naps, happily soaking up the closeness.

Bella is also cat-social and has lived well with other resident cats.

Bella's story is a gentle reminder that a cat's behaviour in a shelter is not always a true reflection of who they'll be once they feel secure and loved. Sometimes, the quiet ones just need someone to take a chance on them - and when you do, they show you their real, beautiful selves.
