About Clyde
Say a gentle hello to Clyde, the sweet and sensitive Dobermann x German Shepherd who is still learning about the world. This lovely boy is on the lookout for a large breed experienced home with a big, secure yard to run around in.
Clyde is best suited to adults and older teens who can help build his confidence slowly but surely. Despite a difficult start to life, he is friendly and gentle to handle, forming strong bonds with people once trust is built. Clyde can be unsure of unfamiliar people and environments, but with a calm approach and plenty of tasty treats, his affectionate nature quickly shines through.
This lovely boy hasn't been around many other dogs and will need to be the only dog in the home. Clyde walks nicely on lead and is very food motivated, which will help with his ongoing training. As he settles into a home, adopters should expect some behaviour changes as his confidence grows. Clyde is just a big puppy who has so much to learn; with structure and predictability in the right home, this sensitive soul will flourish into the best boy!
