About Pandora
MEET PANDORA!
Pandora is a beautiful 2-year-old Exotic Shorthair with a gentle soul and a heart just waiting for the right person to unlock it. Pandora was surrendered to our rescue alongside a litter of her kittens, all of which will also be available via petrescue.
Like many cats who have experienced change, Pandora takes a little time to feel safe in a new environment — but once she learns that she can trust you, her affectionate and cuddly nature truly shines. She forms strong bonds with her humans and loves quiet companionship, soft pats, and curling up close for comfort.
Pandora would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She isn’t demanding, she simply needs someone willing to give her the time, understanding, and love she deserves.
Exotic Shorthair Cats are often described as the “low-energy Persians,” Exotic Shorthairs are known for their sweet temperaments, loyal personalities, and love of indoor living. They enjoy routine, cosy environments, and close relationships with their people.
Because of their adorable flat faces, Exotic Shorthairs do require some specific care:
• Regular eye cleaning will be needed due to tear staining
• Regular brushing helps keep their plush coat healthy
• Indoor-only living is essential for their safety and wellbeing
• Maintaining a healthy weight and regular vet care supports their breathing and overall health
Pandora is looking for a home committed to keeping her safe indoors for life and providing the love and stability she deserves.
If you’re searching for a quiet companion who will reward patience with deep affection and loyal companionship, Pandora is the cat for you.

Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
