My name is Mavis. Yes, I know it's fabulous. It suits my dramatic black-and-white fluff and my very expressive green eyes. Some say I look like I'm plotting world domination. I prefer to think of it as thoughtful observation... mostly about when my next cuddle is arriving.

I'm three years old, though I'm petite enough that people often mistake me for a big kitten. I came into care with my babies and raised them like the devoted little mum I am. They've all grown big and strong now, and since no one came looking for us, it's finally my turn to be someone's whole world.

If you meet me, there is a very high chance I will immediately roll onto my back and demand pats. It's not subtle. I believe in clear communication. I am incredibly affectionate and have absolutely no issue insisting on attention. I've done my time being the responsible mother, now I'd quite like to be the spoiled princess that I am.

I do have FIV, which just means I need to be an indoor-only lady and have a family who understands that I might need a little extra care if I get sick. Cats with FIV live long, happy, love-filled lives, and it doesn't stop me from being playful, cuddly, and completely devoted to my humans. It just means I'm extra special.
