Biggie Paws

Yo, what's up? The name's Biggie Paws! Yeah, I'm a big deal- but I'm also a sensitive soul.

I'm a super chill, gentle giant who's really just looking for my people. New people and new environments make me quite nervous; so I'm not big on grand adventures or busy places. I'd much rather hang out at home, stretch out on the couch and keep you company while you go about your day.

But once I trust you, get ready for lifelong friendship and never-ending love. I transform into the biggest baby you've ever met, and gaze up at you with my bestest puppy dog eyes. Walks are my jam. I'm great on lead, love offering check-ins, and I handle exploration like a pro. But best believe I'm snoozing like a pro afterwards, right next to you.

You'll notice quickly I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat. Loud noises, clicks, or similar sounds are a bit too much for me, so I'm best suited for an adults only home away from loud children. I'm also not the biggest fan of other dogs for the same reason, I do best as the only dog in the house. I can sniff other dogs, but I prefer to keep my peace and ignore the drama.

My friends here at the shelter say I have something called Generalized Anxiety, which although sounds super scary means I get to hang out with my friends the behavior team to get my mind right and my confidence up. I also get the joy of lifelong cheese wrapped medication, as it helps me tackle whatever the day brings. If you've got any questions don't hesitate to call up the shelter and ask!

I hope my future home is quiet and have lots of patience and understanding. In return? You'll have a 35kg shadow who will follow you until the ends of the earth.
