NOTE: You are unable to meet Forrest until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Forrest in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• I am a younger dog, so it's likely I will bite, chew things, toilet inside, bark & cry and be destructive. It is up to you to train these behaviours out of me.
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy, and we must be introduced slowly.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• Being an active breed, I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
• SOCIALISATION is as important as training a puppy. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will ensure I grow into a social and well-adjusted dog.
• Large breed experience is preferred! I am going to be big when full grown!!

My best features:
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• I walk well on lead for a young doggo but having daily walks should help me improve my lead skills
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I will require full basic training as I've had no training experience yet
• As I have not been allowed inside before I am not housetrained yet
