About Winston
Introducing Winston an almost three year old pure-bred Pug.
Winston is a great little guy but in need of some training, his house training needs fine tuning.
He's a very easy dog to walk if you like gentle walks he likes to stop, sniff, look around, he doesn't pull, he's not aggressive and doesn't react to other dogs, apart from seeking refuge around your legs if its a big dog.
Winston likes people and small dogs. I haven't as yet, seen him play with toys. He went well at his first day of training. More to come.
The kitchen is his version of paradise! So be very aware he is food obsessed, and needs to be held back a little so he does not become overweight. And while we are talking about health matters, remember that pugs need to avoid getting over-heated because of their short faces (brachycephalic) so only early morning walks then indoors on hot days.
He's a good little guard dog, but soon settles. He loves to sleep after a walk or training. All in all, Winston is a lovely little dog.
