π About Me:
Hi, I'm Derek! I'm a happy, confident little ginger boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for playtime. Out of my brother Winston and me, I'm definitely the more adventurous and playful one. Whether it's chasing toys, zooming around, or investigating something new, I'm always ready for fun.
Don't let my playful side fool you though, I'm also a very affectionate boy who loves attention and cuddles. After I've burned off some energy, you'll often find me curled up beside my people, enjoying a pat or a nap.
I'm fantastic with kids and dogs, and I've shown that I adapt well to new situations. I love meeting new people and am always keen to be part of whatever is happening around me. If you're looking for a friendly, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling, I could be the perfect match for you!
π My Story:
I was surrendered into care alongside my brother. Since arriving, I have had all of my vet work completed and I am now ready to find a forever family of my own.
π‘ Ideal Forever home:
I'm looking for a family who will love me as much as I'll love them! I'd love a home where I can play, explore, and be involved in whatever my people are doing. I have lots of energy and personality, so I'd be happiest with people who have plenty of time for cuddles, attention, and fun play sessions.
I'm great with kids and dogs, so I'd be happy to share my home with them. Because I've previously had cat flu, My brother and I will need to be the only cats in the home unless any resident cats have also had cat flu before.
Most importantly, I'm looking for a safe indoor-only home where I can spend the rest of my life being loved, spoiled, and treated like part of the family. In return, I'll provide plenty of entertainment, affection, and lots of ginger-cat antics!
Medical notes
A few weeks ago, Derek got quite unwell with Catflu.
Thankfully , With the help of his foster carer and the vets , He made a full recovery and is no longer showing any symptoms.
Cats who have had Catflu can remain lifelong carriers of the virus , So due to this , Derek & Winston will need to be the only cats in the home unless they have also had catflu
