About Goldie
Goldie – The thoughtful little explorer with a cheeky streak
Goldie is a beautiful tabby-and-cream kitten with big curious eyes and a surprisingly thoughtful nature.
At first meeting, Goldie prefers to observe. She likes to sit back, watch what you’re doing, and carefully decide whether you are safe. But once she makes that decision (and it doesn’t take long with a gentle approach), her playful and affectionate personality shines through.
Goldie is what we call a “slow-burn” kitten — she doesn’t immediately launch into your lap, but she chooses her people. When she trusts you, she becomes interactive, playful, and very engaging. She will follow you around the room, investigate whatever you’re doing, and happily join in playtime.
She especially loves evening play sessions and is often the instigator of zoomies with her siblings. Balls, feather toys, cat trees and plush toys are her favourites, and she uses scratching posts beautifully.
Despite her playful side, Goldie is also quiet, gentle on the home, and respectful of furniture, making her suitable for indoor living and apartments.
Personality
• Initially cautious and observant
• Warms up quickly with patience
• Playful and cheeky once comfortable
• Interactive and curious
• Forms strong bonds with her humans
Social behaviour
• Friendly with other cats and kittens
• Enjoys feline companionship
• Young children may be overwhelming at first due to her sensitive nature
• Dog compatibility currently unknown
Care & Habits
• Litter trained (pellets and crystals)
• Eats wet and dry kitten food (not fussy)
• No interest in human food
• Loves climbing cat trees and toys
• Gentle with household items and furniture
Goldie has been raised in foster care, is thriving, meeting all growth milestones and has received regular flea and worm prevention. She is ready to join her forever family now.
Goldie would do best with a patient adopter willing to give her a short settling-in period. In return, she becomes a loyal, entertaining and affectionate companion who will happily be part of your daily life.
Goldie can be adopted on her own, but she would also love a home with another friendly cat to play with.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
