Dotti is the kind of girl who doesn’t give her heart away all at once… but when she does, it’s something truly special. A gentle, soulful beauty with the sweetest nature, Dotti is proof that the best relationships are worth waiting for.
She came into care heavily pregnant with her big, healthy bubbas in her belly and spent a few precious weeks bonding with her foster carer, who absolutely fell head over heels for this gorgeous girl. Dotti bravely delivered five healthy babies (after sadly losing one to a small birth defect) and has been the most devoted, loving and protective mum. Now that her babies are all grown and ready for their own adventures, it’s finally Dotti’s turn to find her happily ever after and to retire from mum life and the streets.
Having only ever known the streets and her colony, Dotti’s gentle spirit is truly remarkable. There isn’t a mean bone in her body. She can be shy and cautious with humans at first and she likes to take her time to make sure you’re worthy of her trust, but she is wonderfully food and treat motivated, which makes winning her over a deliciously easy task!
She loves to “chat” with her adorable little trills and speaks volumes with her expressive eyes. And if she’s not impressed with the conversation? Oh, she’ll let you know with her hilariously sassy face!
Dotti may not be an instant lap cat, but she enjoys being close by her people, quietly sharing space and companionship. With patience, kindness and consistency, her confidence continues to blossom and we truly believe that with time and trust, she will open her heart even more to the comforts of human love.
Dotti would suit a calm, patient home, either with another friendly cat to help her feel secure, or as your one-and-only princess. She needs someone who understands that slow-burn love stories are the most rewarding kind.
