About Milo
Introducing Milo!
Milo, Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog x born 14 November 2025.
Milo (and his brother Otis) came into the Facility as stray dogs, and nobody has come looking for them.
Since being at the facility both boys have been a ball of fun, affection & puppy mayhem, not only with each other but with every human. While he can get excited & jump up for a cuddle. Milo is incredibly sweet and gentle, much more than Otis.
Both dogs tested quite well with other dogs. As Milo is under 6 months we feel with the right training he would be a great friend for all dogs. If you have a friendly dog at home, we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home. Please note your dog must be vaccinated.
We did not test Milo with our cats, or pocket pets, but again as a pup with the right training he should be ok. This would have to be a slow and strict process.
Milo has shown no signs of food aggression, while at the facility.
Milo's adoption fee is $800.00 and includes his desexing & lifetime registration.
He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and are up to date with his vaccinations.

Milois looking forward to meeting you & he is located in East Maitland.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
