About Iso
Yosemite Sam is a bright, sensitive 6‑month‑old ginger and white tabby who loves exploring-but he needs a gentle start. He'll do best beginning in a small launch room where he can settle at his own pace before taking on the rest of the house. Once comfortable, Sam becomes a curious, playful boy who thrives with indoor enrichment like cat trees, hides, and high perches to make his world feel safe and interesting. He enjoys playtime and benefits from structured play and enrichment feeding to help keep his mind busy. Because Sam can become overstimulated with too much petting, he's hoping for adopters who can read his body language and switch to play or another activity when he gives signs that he's had enough.
Sam gets a confidence boost from other friendly cats and would love a feline friend, provided introductions are slow and positive. He may also do well with a calm, social dog who understands boundaries. Teens and older kids who know when to give him space would be a great match for his sensitive nature. With thoughtful handling, enrichment, and plenty of fun toy‑based play (not hands!), Yosemite Sam will blossom into a loving, entertaining companion with just the right mix of sweetness and cheeky charm.
