Stevie

Stevie is a shy and timid girl initially, but once she gets to know you and feels safe, she will happily be right by your side, curled up on the couch next to you.

Stevie will need to be in a home with another calm, friendly dog, as she loves playing with other dogs and thrives on having canine company. She does not enjoy being left alone, so having another calm dog around may help ease her separation anxiety.

She will also need someone who is not away from home for long periods and who can provide her with enough exercise to meet her needs. Stevie loves her daily 3–5km walks. During her walks, she enjoys stopping to sniff every corner and saying hello to the other dogs she meets along the way. She is very friendly and full of energy.

Stevie is not a fan of loud or noisy environments and can be nervous around males initially. However, once she has had time to establish that they are safe, she settles well.

Like many dogs, Stevie does shed — and her hair is definitely the gift that keeps on giving! 😂

Her ideal home would have a secure fenced yard and a pet door to allow her easy access between the house and yard. Stevie is also toilet trained.

Stevie will thrive in a calm and supportive home where she has canine companionship, plenty of exercise, and someone who can give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel safe and settled.
