Godfrey is the kind of boy who quietly tiptoes into your heart and then stays there forever. He can be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a moment and you’ll see just how gentle, sweet, and loving he really is.

Around other dogs, Godfrey absolutely lights up. His confidence grows, his tail gets waggy, and his playful side comes out in the cutest way. He is a total social butterfly, happily making friends with everyone from tiny chihuahuas to big gentle Great Danes, and he especially loves a good game of chasey with other cattle dogs.

Godfrey truly thrives with other dogs and would love a home with a canine buddy to help him feel safe and have fun, but it is not a must. With patience and love, he will still do beautifully as your one and only.

At home, he is the definition of easy. Godfrey is calm, quiet, and perfectly happy to snooze nearby while you go about your day. He settles beautifully and is comfortable being left alone, making him a lovely low fuss companion.

He does have a curious little explorer streak, so he will need a secure yard where he can safely sniff, wander, and enjoy the sunshine.
