About Tiger, the greyhound
If you are interested in Tiger, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/4YdfUixpmWdJ4StT9
Meet Tiger, an easygoing greyhound with lovely house manners and a calm, adaptable nature. He has settled into foster care well and is building confidence as his routine becomes familiar.
Tiger is polite and relaxed. He is toilet trained overnight and, after fully settled into a consistent routine, is comfortably managing a standard workday. He walks beautifully on lead and responds well to cues like “wait,” “let’s go,” and “this way,” making him a pleasure to walk.
Tiger could be comfortable in both apartments or houses and takes everyday life in stride. He is unfazed by suburb traffic, sirens, motorbikes, and busy environments, and has handled car travel and group greyhound walks calmly. Stairs are no issue for him, and while wooden floors are still a little new, he navigates them confidently at a steady pace.
He has been social and appropriate with other dogs, including greyhounds and a friendly Frenchie. Calm introductions are recommended, particularly with unfamiliar breeds, but he enjoys canine company and could happily live with another canine companion. However, he could also imagine living a life being a solo hound.
Tiger has not yet been tested with young children, though his generally easygoing temperament suggests he would suit a home with calm, respectful interactions.
Tiger is an affectionate boy who enjoys ear scritches, gentle attention, and greets kind words with a happy tail wag. His expressive ears are a much-loved feature and give him plenty of character.
Tiger would suit both first-time and experienced adopters looking for a low-key, affectionate greyhound who adapts easily to home life and enjoys quiet companionship.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
