About Carrow
When Carrow first arrived at LDH, he was almost unrecognisable. He came in filthy, covered in dirt and fleas, with scratches across his body and looking completely defeated. Terrified and painfully underconfident, this sweet boy seemed unsure if the world had anything kind left to offer him.
But everything changed when he went into foster care with one of our incredible carers.
With patience, warmth, and lots of TLC, Carrow has transformed into a whole new man. His coat is clean and cared for, his eyes are brighter, and his gentle personality is starting to shine through.
His foster carer describes him beautifully:
"Carrow is a quiet but friendly boy. Although he is not as energetic as a typical three-year-old cat, he truly enjoys pats, attention, and affection from humans. He doesn't show much interest in cat toys, but he loves following you around the house and will sit closely or rest quietly next to you. He is quite talkative, especially when he knows you're preparing his food, and is generally responsive and engaged with people."
Carrow may not be the life-of-the-party type, but he is the loyal companion type. He's the cat who will shadow you from room to room, settle beside you at the end of the day, and softly chat to you while dinner is being prepared. His affection is gentle, steady, and genuine.
After everything he's been through, Carrow deserves a home where he'll never feel neglected or unsure again. He would thrive with someone who appreciates a calm, devoted companion and understands that confidence grows when love is consistent.
From filthy and frightened to cherished and cared for, Carrow's journey has already been remarkable. Now he's ready for the final chapter, a forever home where he can continue to blossom.
Could you be the one to give this quiet, loyal boy the safe and loving future he's been waiting for?
