Meadow is a timid kitten who will need a patient adopter and a calm environment to help her settle in comfortably. She must begin in a quiet launch room with low foot traffic so she can adjust at her own pace, and any small hiding spaces or escape holes should be blocked off. Because she may be quite shy at first, her new family should understand that building confidence will take time. Gentle play with interactive toys can help her feel more secure as she learns to trust. A home with older, respectful children is recommended, as Meadow needs to initiate contact on her own terms and should never be chased or forced to be held. She can live with other cats or kittens, provided introductions are slow and only begin once she has settled in her launch room. She may also do well with a calm, social dog if interactions are monitored.
