About Huxley
Huxley is a gorgeous Kelpie x Border Collie who clearly missed the memo about being a high‑drive working breed. While his ancestors were out herding sheep at dawn, Huxley was probably the class clown in the back row, cracking jokes and taking naps. If there was a Working Dog School, he definitely flunked out — proudly.
This boy shows zero signs of traditional working‑dog energy. Instead, he’s a certified couch potato with a cheeky streak a mile wide. His favourite activities include:
• Sprawling dramatically across the lounge
• Hogging the air‑conditioning like a seasoned professional
• Casual yard jogs followed by very serious sniffing
• Returning to the couch to recover from said jogs
Huxley’s ideal home is one that appreciates his unique talents: comedy, cuddles, and comfort. Give him a soft couch, a cool breeze, and a yard to potter in, and he’ll reward you with endless charm and a personality that keeps you smiling.
If you’re looking for a “working dog” who has retired before ever starting his career, Huxley is your guy.
