Lord Darcy

True to his noble name, Lord Darcy is a stunning Ragdoll gentleman.

Before coming into care, Darcy was found living under someone's house, fending for himself and unsure of the world around him. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was understandably shut down, reserved, skittish, and not quite ready to believe he was finally safe. The busy shelter environment was overwhelming for this sensitive boy.

Darcy will need a calm, understanding home with someone who can move at his pace. He isn't the type to dive straight into your lap, but with time, kindness, and consistency, he will reward you with a bond that feels truly special. Watching him blossom will be an incredibly fulfilling journey.

As a Ragdoll, Darcy has a beautiful coat that will require regular grooming to keep it in top condition. Right now, handling and grooming are still new and a little scary for him, so his adopter will need to gently and gradually help him adjust to having his coat cared for. With patience and positive reinforcement, he will learn that grooming can be a safe and comforting experience.

Someone committed to gentle grooming and ongoing coat care
