Liberty is a sweet, affectionate girl who has truly come into her own. These days, she is confident, loving and very clear about when she would like your attention – and she absolutely adores one-on-one pats and cuddles.
When Liberty first arrived in foster care as a tiny kitten, she found the world a scary place. But with time, patience and kindness, she has blossomed into a relaxed and happy companion who now actively seeks out affection.
Liberty will position herself in just the right spot to let you know she’s ready for pats (it’s very cute), and in the evenings she loves nothing more than curling up on your lap, purring herself to sleep.
In a new home, Liberty may need a little time to adjust and feel comfortable, but once she settles in, her affectionate and gentle nature really shines. She forms deep bonds with her people and will reward your love with unwavering devotion.
Liberty would suit a quieter home with one or two people or a family with older children (no young children please), where she can continue to feel safe and build a strong connection.
She is fine with other cats and kittens, but we don’t think she is suited to living with dogs. While she has grown in confidence, she still prefers a calm environment and may be startled by sudden loud noises occasionally.
With her soft, silky fur, Liberty enjoys a once or twice-weekly brush – a perfect excuse for some extra bonding time. And she loooves being brushed! She also loves making eye contact and connecting with her humans, and would thrive in a home where someone is around in the evenings to share quiet, affectionate moments.
Liberty is ready to find a loving forever home where she can continue to flourish and be cherished for the beautiful, affectionate girl she is.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
