About Venice
Meet Venice, a delightful 4.5-year-old. 15 kg Lagotto with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Although she may be a bit shy at first, once she warms up, you'll quickly discover her friendly and affectionate nature. Venice absolutely loves outdoor adventures and will thrive with regular exercise and outings alongside her family. Whether it's a long walk through the park or exploring new trails, Venice is always ready for the next adventure and will eagerly join in with a wag of her tail.
Venice has a special fondness for children and enjoys being with her people. Her playful and gentle demeanor with kids makes her a perfect family companion. Her love of people and warmth is also reflected in her relationship with other dogs. While she's great with most dogs, Venice finds great joy in canine playdates and socializing. Venice will need regular grooming.
Water is one of Venice's greatest passions. She delights in splashing around and would love to have a paddle pool where she can indulge her love of water play. With Venice, a day by the water is a day well spent!
However, Venice has the spirit of a true adventurer. She has a natural instinct to chase cats and chooks, so a home without small animals would be ideal. Despite her occasional shyness around new people, a little time and patience are all she needs to show her incredible warmth and loyalty.
If you're looking for a loving and adventurous companion who adores being around family and is always up for fun, Venice might just be the perfect addition to your home. With Venice by your side, every day will be an exciting adventure filled with love.
Medical notes
Venice passed her medical.
She has a grade 1 heart murmur which will need 6-12 monthly monitoring.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
