About Peach
If you've got a Staffy shaped hole in your heart than Peach is your girl!
Peach is a sweet Staffy with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. She can be quite a nervous lady at first, so she's looking for a calm and understanding family who will take a slow, patient approach while she settles in. Once she begins to feel safe, her soft and affectionate nature starts to shine through. She thinks shes a lap dog and absolutely loves a cuddle, so once you've gained Peach's trust you'll have a new best friend and couch potato!
She would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not, as she finds comfort in companionship and consistency. A quieter household will help her build confidence at her own pace. Peach is suitable to live with secondary school aged children, or adults, and any children will need to meet her at the shelter before adoption to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
Peach will need to be the only dog in the home so she can truly relax and enjoy her space. Her new family must be committed to force-free, positive reinforcement training to help her continue building confidence and trust. With gentle guidance and encouragement, she has so much potential to blossom. Treats are a sure fire way to help you make your way into this little lady's heart.
If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to let Peach move at her own speed, you'll be rewarded with endless cuddles from a deeply loyal and loving companion who will form a beautiful bond with her special people.
