Meet Scar!

Scar is a bodacious black and white cat, a sweetheart through and through, who is now on the lookout for his forever home.

Scar is the sort of cat that is very affectionate to people who come up to say hello to him, and loves his people dearly, but he can also get a little over stimulated at times, so we recommend that his goes to a single cat home, where he can thrive and be the cuddliest smoochiest version of himself.

Scar is also what we call an "indoor-only" gentleman. This is because he is FIV positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). While that might sound a bit formal, it's really quite simple: it just means his immune system is a little less "tough" than other cats. Living with an FIV+ cat is very similar to living with any other cat! He just needs to stay safely indoors to keep him away from outside germs and to protect the local cat community. With a high-quality diet, regular vet check-ups, and plenty of love, FIV+ cats like Scar can live long, happy, and completely normal lives.
