Meet Stephen
If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a gentle giant, Stephen might just be your perfect match.
At just 13 months old, this handsome Wolfhound cross is still very much a puppy at heart. With his long legs, scruffy good looks and slightly awkward teenage charm, he's impossible not to love.
Stephen absolutely adores people and is always happy to make a new friend. He greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and an enthusiasm that is guaranteed to make you smile.
Stephen is also great with other dogs, though due to his size and playful nature, we'd recommend appropriately size-matched dog friends so everyone can play safely and comfortably.
Still very much a youngster, Stephen has plenty of fun, goofy puppy energy and is looking for a home where he can be part of the action, continue his training, and share all the love he has to give.
Stephen is a big, strong boy and can be enthusiastic on the lead, so he'll need someone willing to continue working on his leash manners. He would also benefit from having either human or doggy company for most of the day, as he enjoys being part of the action and may otherwise find his own ways to stay entertained!

Stephen’s adoption fee is $800. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and has been treated for ticks, fleas and worms.
He is in care in Fullerton Cove, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
