About Cassie, the greyhound
If you are interested in Cassie, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/4YdfUixpmWdJ4StT9
Cassie is an elegant 7-year-old girl who has been living as a pet for 4 years and is now looking for a new and final furever home, as her family prepares to move overseas.
This will be an assisted re-home with Homeward Bound Hounds, who will be supporting the trial and adoption.
She’s affectionate, loves cuddles and gentle greyhound leans, and thrives on being close to her people. Calm, responsive, and low-energy, she brings a peaceful presence to the home and is happiest lounging nearby after short, relaxed walks.
She’s adaptable and has lived comfortably in both houses and apartments. Currently a solo dog, Cassie would be happy on her own or with a calm, non-reactive greyhound companion. She’s used to having people around most of the day, though she’s fine being left alone for a couple of hours.
Cassie would be best suited to a home with older children (around 10+), who understand calm interactions. She walks beautifully on lead, and is fully toilet trained, sleeping through the night without issue.
She’s confident around everyday noises, traffic, and city environments. Cassie prefers the company of other greyhounds, may take time to warm up to larger dogs, and is not suited to smaller dogs.
Cassie is an easy, gentle girl who would suit both first-time or experienced greyhound adopters who value kindness, patience, and companionship. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate shadow who will quietly follow you from room to room and melt into cuddles, Cassie may be your perfect match 🤍
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
