Meet beautiful Maggie, a sweet, affectionate little girl who is ready to find her very own forever family. Maggie is currently enjoying life in foster care in Cessnock and has blossomed into a loving little companion who adores being close to her people.
Maggie loves her morning and evening walks, nature, cuddles and spending time with her humans. She has a strong food drive, which makes her very responsive to treats and training. She is eager to please and would benefit from a family who will continue building on her manners and house training with patience, consistency and positive reinforcement.

• Someone home most of the time, as Maggie loves to shadow her people and thrives on companionship and engagement
• A loving home that understands small companion breeds
• Someone willing to continue her training and provide structure and consistency and plenty of patience.
• Regular walks and plenty of interaction
• A family who is happy to keep her little social circle going through playdates and occasional sleepovers with her foster fur siblings
Maggie currently lives happily with three foster dog siblings and is an easy-going girl. She may enjoy having another small dog as a companion, although she certainly doesn’t mind being the centre of attention! 🥰
🐶 Maggie is NOT suitable for a home with children.
🐱 She has not been tested with cats.
Maggie is also an excellent little door alert system — she’ll make sure you know when someone arrives! 😂
She is a true little companion dog and currently sleeps happily in her carer’s bed. She will require regular grooming to keep her beautiful coat comfortable and healthy.

Maggie's adoption fee is $850. She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas, ticks and worms. She is in foster care in Cessnock Newcastle, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
