$100 Rusty

Rusty was a colony cat. Life had been rough and the scars on his fat tom cat face show it.

For a couple of months, Rusty would hide and his presence was announced by the sound of his spitting and stomping aggressively.

One day, he got conjunctivitis and so he had to be treated. As the medicine cleared his infection, Rusty's demeanor rapidly changed. It seems he knew we were helping him, and so we were now deserving of his trust.

Rusty can be petted by anyone now, he will even headbutt hands for a pat, and can be picked up and carried. He absolutely loves touch now, and sometimes we think "who are you and what have you done with Rusty?"

Rusty is a wonderfully affectionate big boy. He may look a little rough around the edges, but he is handsome and will offer a lucky person many years of love and loyalty.
