Having previously lived with another Dachshund friend, Minty has shown that he can adapt and cope on his own but would absolutely relish having the company of another friendly small dog, especially during those times when his human family is busy. He's not particularly interested in cats, so they won't be a distraction for him. As a typical Dachshund, he may bark at unfamiliar dogs, but he's perfectly calm and content indoors with those he knows.
