Meet Your Future Adventure Buddy 🐾✨
This 10-month-old Kelpie x Border Collie boy is everything you’d expect from two of the smartest working breeds rolled into one — athletic, brainy, affectionate, and always ready for his next mission in life (even if that mission is just chasing a ball or learning a new trick!).
He’s still very much a puppy at heart, with big enthusiasm and an even bigger zest for life. He absolutely needs a doggy friend in his new home — he gets along beautifully with both male and female dogs. That said, he can be quite excitable, so he’d do best with a confident, patient companion who won’t mind his bouncy “LET’S PLAY RIGHT NOW” energy.
One special little detail that makes him even more unique — his left front foot is missing his phalanges (toes). It doesn’t slow him down one bit! He runs, plays, zooms and lives life completely unaware that he’s any different. It simply adds to his charm and makes him all the more special. 🐾💙
🏡 His Ideal Home
This boy is not a couch potato. He thrives on activity and would be best suited to:
• Someone experienced with working breeds
• A home on acreage or with plenty of space
• An active family committed to daily exercise
• A human who loves training and mental stimulation
He would excel with agility, obedience, scent work, trick training — you name it. He walks beautifully on lead and is always keen to learn. Give him a job and he’ll give you his whole heart.
🐕 Other Animals
• Great with other dogs (and really needs one!)
• Good around cats and chooks, but due to his high energy and herding instincts, he shouldn’t be left unsupervised
• Has met horses — aside from trying to round them up (classic herding brain!), he’s been fine
👨👩👧👦 People & Kids
He adores people and is great with kids. He’s affectionate, social, and loves being included in family life.

Meet the animal and chat to the foster carer to make sure this animal is the right one for you, your home, family and circumstances.
We recommend you have a chat as a family and a think, make sure everyone is on board and happy with the choice to add the animal to your family.
Contact the team to advise your decision either way....if this one isn't the right fit we will work with you to try and find the best match.
If this is the one, we can start the adoption process. Complete the application to adopt and promptly return the application. A home/yard check may be required by one of our team members, if this is not possible photos showing fenced and undercover areas will be required. Once application is approved, you will be invoiced. Pay the adoption fees via electronic transfer, send proof of payment to admin.
We will advise the you and foster carer the animal is clear to leave and you can arrange collection of your newest family member.
*We do have a "cooling off" period please see these terms on adoption application form.
Please note; We do offer interstate adoptions where suitable for the animal in care. All transport costs are at the adopters expense. However we will, where possible, assist with airport transfers. In liu of a meet and greet interstate adopters must have a phone interview/conversation with the foster carer. Yard/Home photos will be required with all interstate applications.
