NOTE: You are unable to meet Theo until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Theo in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• I enjoy the company of other dogs my own size but am NOT keen on bigger dogs. A doggie playmate my size would be great, but if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy, and we must be introduced slowly.
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promises to keep me well-groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention

My best features:
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I know my basic doggie commands
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly small dogs
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Housetrained and used to being allowed inside - I may need some brushing up on my skills in my new home!
• I love toys especially a soft squeaky toy!

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I am scared of thunder & fireworks and will bark & whine. I will require a safe space to retreat to during these events as well as comfort and reassurance from my family.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET THEO BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
