🧸 About Bear (aka Bubu)
Bear, affectionately known as Bubu, is a handsome grey British Blue gentleman who is now looking for his forever home💙
Bear has come an incredible way since he was first found as a stray — undesexed, injured, and unsure of the world around him. When he initially joined his foster family, he was understandably very shy and spent time quietly tucked away in the spare bedroom, watching from a safe distance.
Today, Bear is a very different boy! He is calm, confident and affectionate. He enjoys pats, rubs up against you for attention, happily follows you around the house and loves being close to his people.
Bear has formed a lovely bond with the resident female cat and is also comfortable sharing his space with the family dog. While he’s not particularly fond of being picked up, he shows his affection in other gentle ways.
His playful side continues to emerge, and it’s clear that Bear is learning what love, safety, and belonging feel like.
Bear is now ready for adoption and would make a wonderful addition to the right home.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who will steal your heart, Bear (Bubu) might just be your perfect match. 💙🐾

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the adoption price.
