Lovely little sausage Coco is looking for her new abode. Coco loves having a strong and experienced person to give her confidence so she doesn’t need to be the CEO in the home. She’s a happy girl and loves walking and going in the car. Coco can be uncertain with children around and therefore we would prefer a child free home for her. Coco also has some history with resource guarding food but we have not seen it in foster care and we will discuss this more with suitable adopters. She is good with dogs and could live with another dog. We would prefer people who have experience living with dachshunds and understand their special needs and qualities. Currently Coco is living on a property with lots of space and other animals. When living in town Coco barked a lot and didn’t enjoy having closer neighbours and a busy street to manage. Coco would be better suited to a quieter lifestyle with space and experienced people who understand how to help her relax.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $700 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check and a fitted Harness.
