Sandy was born on November 18, 2021, and since being rescued as a stray mom, she has been slowly learning to trust the world around her. Sandy is an intriguing blend of beauty and timidity, and she’s looking for a compassionate and understanding individual or family to help her blossom.
Sandy could take some time to adjust to her new surroundings, possibly seeking out quiet corners when she's feeling overwhelmed. However, her gentle soul is apparent in her soft expressions, hinting at the potential for a deep bond with those who offer her patience and kindness.
Her ideal home would be with someone who understands that trust can't be rushed and is willing to provide her with the space and reassurance she needs. With gentle affection and time, Sandy is likely to come out of her shell, revealing the sweet cat beneath her shy exterior.
For those willing to open their hearts to her journey, Sandy has a lot to offer. Fully vetted, she’s desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She's located in Christie Downs, where she awaits a meet and greet with her potential new family. Adoption is available for $50, or through a foster-to-adopt program, which offers the chance to really get to know Sandy during a 3-6 month trial period at no upfront cost.

Adoption details
To adopt a cat or kitten please send an email to catsincrisisinc@outlook.com.au to arrange a suitable time for a meet and greet or come to our Adoption Event which is held at One Stop Pet Shop in Aldinga. Check our face book page for dates
Once adopted you will have a two week settling in period before the adoption is finalised. As a rescue we would like our cats to be kept inside only or have access to a secure outdoor enclosure/run.
We have a program called Foster to adopt a timid kitty. this is for our shy Cats that need a chance. We give you 6 months with the cat and in that time if you decide to adopt , then the cost of the cat is the price of transferring the microchip. We will advise which cats are in this program.
