Ruby has lived her life as a dedicated mama. Now it's her turn to be pampered and to enjoy the retired life she truly deserves. Once she has weaned her puppies, she will be ready for adoption around 18/3/26 to applicants who live in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie only as she needs to go to Toronto Vet for desexing, vaccination and dental treatment around 29th April.
Ruby is the absolute sweetest girl on earth, and despite having just one eye from a mishap in the past, she doesn't let that slow her down one bit.
Ruby loves her walks, cuddles and kisses. She will always welcome you home with a wagging tail, love and licks. She even tries to chat with you and wants to know all about your day.
Ruby needs to be welcomed inside as part of the family. She is toilet trained if you have a doggy door.
Ruby is dog friendly however she would really love some peace and quiet and be pampered like a princess in a wonderful forever home where she can finally put up her paws and just soak up all the love.

Ruby is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

Ruby’s adoption fee is $750 which includes her desexing 6 weeks after weaning. It also includes her vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
Ruby is in foster care in Cameron Park Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed and requires a dental treatment, she is only available for adoption to the Newcastle region. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing around 29th April 2026.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
