About Coco
Meet Coco, an affectionate and loyal canine companion destined to be your shadow! With her endearing "Velcro dog" tendencies, she relishes being in the company of her favorite people.
Coco’s “Velcro dog” tendencies mean she forms strong bonds and loves being near her person, offering quiet loyalty and companionship. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home that will give her the time, patience, and love she needs to continue building confidence and someone who is home a lot.
Due to Coco's preference for remaining close to the ground, picking her up isn't an option, but she makes up for it by curling up next to you with a comforting presence. Her grooming needs are best handled by an experienced groomer who is accustomed to working with anxious dogs, as Coco prefers minimal brushing.
Toilet training is still a work in progress for Coco. She's consistently using a designated area inside the house and, with time and patience, could transition to outdoor routines.
Coco may require some extra care and considerations, but her boundless love and devotion will make for a deeply rewarding companionship.
Around the house, Coco is a gentle soul who manages well with a little help. She uses a ramp to go down the two back steps and is confident going up them on her own. On lead, she has an endearing habit of circling around her handler’s legs rather than walking in a straight line, quirky, but manageable with patience and gentle guidance. Once settled into the car, she travels calmly and quietly, making outings with her a pleasant experience.
With the right adopter, Coco will be a devoted, gentle companion who brings warmth and sweetness to every day. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet Coco. 🐾
