Wally LOVES his walks. The leash comes out and it’s instant excitement. He also loves hopping in the car — especially when he knows it means he’s heading off on a walking adventure. The car door opens and he’s ready to go!

When it comes to playtime, Wally is all about his fur siblings. He much prefers a good play and social time with other dogs, though he will sometimes play with toys as well. He enjoys being part of the pack and would thrive in a home with canine company.

Wally has a beautiful, gentle nature and would make a brilliant family dog. He is great with children and truly enjoys being part of the action. He can get a little excited and forget just how tall he is when he’s happy, so older children will suit him best — but his heart is pure gold and his intentions are always loving.

Toileting is going well and he’s learning his routine nicely. Like many dogs, he may have the occasional slip-up while he continues to settle in and learn, but he’s making wonderful progress.

And once the excitement settles? That’s when Cuddle Mode activates. Wally is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than resting his head on you, soaking up pats, and simply being close. He wants to belong — to follow you around, lean into you, and be your loyal shadow.

Did someone say food? Because Wally absolutely loves it. Treats? Yes please. Breakfast and dinner time? Best parts of the day. It’s also a great way to keep his clever brain engaged — he listens well and is eager to please.
