Meet Felicity ❣︎

Hi, Felicity's foster carer here. I’ve been in rescue a long time. I’ve written hundreds of profiles. I can usually whip them up in five minutes flat and keep it all very professional.

This one is different.

Because Felicity is different.

I’m going to be completely honest here… I adore her. Like, truly adore her. The kind where you sit on the couch with her and think, “Well… maybe six resident cats isn’t that many?” (It is. I also have three dogs, a cow and five chooks. And a husband I’m kinda fond of!😅)

Felicity came into care through our trusted vet, and the similarities were impossible to ignore. Same location. Same look. Same temperament. Let me explain..... Twelve months ago I fostered her mum, Vanessa, who gave birth in care and was absolutely divine. One of the hardest adoptions I’ve ever done. Then her sister came into care before Christmas with her own baby and thankfully found an awesome home (thankfully with a mate).

And then the phone rang.

“We think we have Vanessa’s daughter… Pink’s sister.”

I froze.

“Of course I’ll take her.”

And here we are.

Felicity has had all her vetwork done and she is ridiculously affectionate. She will literally put her paws up for a kiss and a cuddle. Full stretch. “Pick me up immediately, human.”

In over 400 fosters, I can honestly say I have never met a young lady quite like her.

She is:

• Extremely social with humans
• Very social with other cats
• Confident, loving and beautifully natured
• The kind of cat who makes your house feel warmer just by being in it

So this is me, her foster mum, gently (but dramatically) pleading…

Please adopt her.
