About Mumma Coco
Introducing Muma Coco (aka Coco)
Why is she called Muma Coco? Because this refined little lady came into AWL care as a devoted mum, along with her six tiny kittens.
Muma Coco was everything you could hope for in a mother — gentle, attentive and endlessly patient with her babies. Had she and her kittens remained outside, they may well have become street cats. Instead, thanks to the care of her foster mum, her kittens grew into happy, bouncing little bundles and Coco proved herself to be one very proud and loving mum.
Now that her babies are ready to find homes of their own, it’s Coco’s turn.
She would love a quiet home where she can stretch out in a sunny corner, enjoy long back pats, and relax knowing her mothering days are behind her. Head bumps are her specialty, especially when she’s feeling content and adored.
Muma Coco is a delightful, petite cat with so much love still to give. She truly deserves a home where she will be cherished.
If you would like to meet Muma Coco (she’s also very happy to just be called Coco), please complete the pre-adoption application under her profile. If you’re a suitable match, one of our volunteers will be in touch to organise a meet & greet.
Muma Coco is in foster care in south-western Sydney. 🐾
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
