About Scrappy
Meet Scrappy – The Tough Guy with a Marshmallow Heart
At just 2 years old, Scrappy has already lived a lifetime. This handsome ginger boy spent his early years surviving on the streets, earning his name from his adorably torn ears and once-scruffy coat. Those battle scars tell a story of resilience — but they don’t define who he is today.
After six weeks in care, Scrappy is absolutely blossoming. His coat is filling out, his confidence is growing, and he has discovered two of life’s greatest joys: pats and brushing. In fact, he’s obsessed. If you dare to stop mid-pat or pause the brushing session, Scrappy will gently remind you with a friendly little nip or a soft swipe of his paw, this is his way of saying, “Excuse me, the service here was excellent. Please continue.”
Underneath that rough-and-tumble exterior is a deeply affectionate, people-loving cat who just wants to soak up attention all day long. He will happily lean into your hands, follow you around for more affection, and reward you with his big personality and loyal companionship.
Scrappy can tolerate quiet female feline companions, but after having to defend himself against male cats on the streets, he finds dominant male cats overwhelming and anxiety-inducing. He would thrive as the only male cat in the home, or alongside a calm, respectful female cat.
He is fully desexed, microchipped, and completely ready to leave his street days behind for good. What he needs now is a home where he can feel safe, adored, and — most importantly — endlessly patted.
If you’re looking for a character cat with a survivor’s spirit and a heart full of love, Scrappy might just be your perfect match.
Ready to give this tough little gentleman the soft life he deserves?
