About Coral
Meet Coral – a beautiful Miniature Poodle with a gentle heart and so much love to give.
Coral is a sweet and affectionate little girl who forms strong bonds with her people. She enjoys being near her humans and will happily follow them from room to room, settling close by just to feel included. One of her favourite places to be is curled up on the lounge for a cuddle – and if invited, she is more than happy to snuggle in bed too. While she loves affection, Coral also has a lovely independent streak and is quite content to quietly relax and observe what is going on around her.
Having come from an environment where she was not exposed to a wide variety of experiences, Coral is still learning about the world around her. She is adjusting beautifully in foster care and continues to build confidence each day. With visitors, she can be selective – she may become excited and warmly greet people she knows or feels comfortable with, while happily sitting back and observing others until she feels ready. This thoughtful, discerning nature makes her a calm and easy presence in the home. She currently lives harmoniously with three Greyhounds and a Cavoodle and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She clearly enjoys canine companionship and takes comfort from the presence of other dogs. We will only be looking to rehome her with another resident dog who is a stable and balanced role model for her.
Coral walks beautifully on lead and is a calm, easy companion out and about. She does not pull and is a pleasure to take for a stroll. She also travels well in the car, settling after a few minutes and quietly lying down for the journey. Toilet training is still in progress. While she has made noticeable improvement since arriving in care and is having fewer accidents, she does still have the occasional mishap indoors. Her new family will need to continue her toilet training with patience, routine and positive reinforcement.
Coral has been comfortable around children and shows a gentle nature, though she does not seek constant interaction. As with all dogs, any resident children must be taught to be respectful, understand canine body language and give her space when needed. She will flourish in a calm and understanding home environment where her quiet confidence can continue to grow.
As a Miniature Poodle, Coral will require regular grooming to maintain her coat and keep her comfortable. She has recently had a dental and is now sporting very pearly white teeth, but her new owners should continue to monitor her dental health and maintain good oral care into the future.
We are seeking a home for Coral where she will live indoors and be included as a valued member of the family. She must be allowed inside and to sleep indoors at night. Coral must go to a home with at least one other resident dog who is well-balanced and confident. A calm, happy canine role model will help her continue to build confidence and settle successfully into her new life.
Coral is a beautiful, loving little companion who is ready to blossom in a home that offers patience, structure and plenty of affection. She will reward her new family with quiet devotion, companionship and those special cuddly moments once she has formed her bond.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
