About Delta
Meet Delta
Delta is every bit the classic cattle dog — clever, loyal, intense in the best way, and completely devoted to her people.
She absolutely adores humans, especially children. If someone walks through the door, Delta is first in line — running over with full-body enthusiasm for pats, cuddles and a few excited licks. She gets wonderfully animated when she sees someone she loves (or someone new she’d like to love).
A True Working Breed Girl
Delta has that signature cattle dog spark. She’s confident, strong-willed and full of personality. In the right hands, that boldness becomes brilliance.
Because of this, she will need:
• An experienced cattle dog home
• Clear leadership and consistent boundaries
• Ongoing training and mental stimulation
She thrives with structure and guidance and will form an incredibly loyal bond with her person.
Social Setup
Delta would likely do best as a single dog, where she can soak up all the attention and not feel the need to compete.
She currently lives with cats but is very interested in them, so a home without cats would be safest and most suitable.
Lifestyle
Delta loves heading out bush, exploring and being active. She’s not a couch ornament — she wants adventure, purpose and involvement.
Her perfect home will:
• Include her in daily life
• Provide physical exercise and mental challenges
• Understand and appreciate true working breed temperament
Delta is not for a first-time dog owner — but for someone who knows and loves cattle dogs, she is an absolute gem. Loyal, affectionate and bursting with personality, she will give her whole heart to the right home.
