This Bashful beast has a big ole heart to match his big ole head.
He's affectionate, expressive and just a little bit shy when he first meets you, his ideal home is one free from the little kids (he means no malice he just forgets how big he is and how small they are) and with a patient, kind and committed experienced dog owner who understands that learning about life takes time and that despite his size (and he still has a little growing left in him) he is at heart just an oversized lap dog in search of a lap to call his own
Sashimi is best suited to be the only dog in the home for now, he is an oversized puppy who is still in the process of refining his manners, whilst he does enjoy throwing his weight around during playtime when it comes to feeding time he lacks the social skills to allow for other doggy friends (BUT he is working on this and has come a long way in a short time so ongoing training is key).
If a boisterous boof-head is on the menu then why don't you come and sa-shi-mi sometime?

• Search for the animal you are interested in by typing their name or impound number in the search bar
• Read through their profile & click the red button which says 'Submit an Expression of Interest'
• Next, we'll reach out to you
• If all goes well, we'll discuss the next steps and a meet & greet!
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
