Merry is your resident "Lap King." 👑 While other kittens are zooming, Merry prefers to sit on your lap, purring his heart out. He is a total sweetheart who takes his role as big brother seriously, you’ll often find him carefully grooming his sister, Pip. 🧼🐱
Vibe: Quiet observer & professional snuggler. ☁️
Favourite Spot: Perched high up on the back of the couch like a tiny gargoyle. 🛋️
Pippin (Pip): The Social Butterfly 🦋
If Merry is the calm, Pip is the storm! ⚡ She is active, curious, and very vocal, she’ll always be the first to greet you at the door with a chatty "hello!" 🗣️ She’s an independent explorer who loves to see what’s happening in every corner of the house.
Vibe: Independent explorer & chatterbox. 🎤
Favourite Spot: She’s a "tunnel cat" who loves hiding under the coffee table for a sneaky pounce! 🕵️♀️
🎾 The Fun Stuff
Favourite Toy: They share a special orange toy mouse 🐭🧡 that they take turns carrying from room to room like a little trophy! They also love chasing balls around the house. ⚽
Bravery Level: These two are fearless! 🦁 While they might be a little jumpy with brand-new sounds, they aren't scared of much and adapt quickly.

🏠 Their Ideal Home
Merry and Pippin are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. 🐾 because they rely on each other for grooming and play, they are very low-maintenance and adaptable!
Kids/Dogs/Cats: While they haven't been officially tested, their "fear nothing" attitude means they would likely do well in most homes with proper introductions. 🐾❓
Quiet Home? Not required! These two can handle a bit of hustle and bustle. 🌪️

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
