About Artemus
Hello two-legged food bearer, my name is Artemus... but you may call me Artie, because we are going to be very close. And by close, I mean there will be no room for personal space. If you move from one room to another, congratulations - you now have a tabby-and-white shadow. Working? I am there. Watching TV? Also there. Bathroom trip? Absolutely supervised. I really, really like people and I prefer to keep them within paw’s reach at all times.
I take my naps very seriously, which is why I outsource my grooming and pillow needs to the older, wiser cats. Especially the resident legend, Harry. He is my personal spa, heater, and mattress. When I’m not napping in luxury, I am in full play mode, and when that happens... stand back. The laser pointer is my nemesis. The red dot of doom flips a switch in my brain, and I become laser-focused, bowling over any kitten that dares get between me and my target. Blinders on. Mission engaged.
Despite my intense athletic pursuits, I have the sweetest little purr, not too loud, not too quiet, the perfect background soundtrack when I am happy. And when life feels especially good? I knead on your lap to let you know I am deeply content with my choices. I do have a soft spot for male humans (no offence, ladies), but if you earn my trust, you will be rewarded with cuddles, purrs, and constant companionship.
And when you return home, I will be waiting at the door like a tiny, very serious welcome committee. Whether you’ve been gone all day or merely stepped outside for a moment, I will greet you as though you’ve returned from a long and perilous journey. There may be purring, there may be weaving around your legs, and there will definitely be a small tabby face looking up at you.
So if you are looking for a playful, affectionate, laser-obsessed kitten who will follow you everywhere and nap on you when he’s pleased with life, Artie is ready to report for duty.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
