About Giddy Up The Greyhound
*currently living in a home
Hi there — hello! It’s me… Giddy Up.
Now before you get the wrong idea, I should clarify something straight away: despite the name, I am definitely not a horse. At most, I might be described as slightly foal-like — mostly because I’m a petite little lady who’s still figuring out how these long legs work. I’m also about to turn two, which basically means I’m still a baby (at least in my opinion).
Even at my young age, I’ve already mastered one of the most important greyhound life skills: the art of the perfect nap. When it comes to relaxing, I’m always ready to giddy up… straight to the nearest comfy bed.
While I do have the occasional burst of silliness and a few playful zooms, at heart I’m a gentle, affectionate girl. I love being close to my people — soaking up pats, enjoying their company, and quietly taking the world in. My sweet and calm nature tends to win people over pretty quickly… and before you know it, we’ll be best friends. Because, let’s face it — you’re only human.
Energy-wise, I’m not really a “go, go, go” type of girl. I’d say I’m much more in the “giddy up to the couch” category than the “galloping off into the sunset” one.
I’m a lovely blend of young and playful, with that classic greyhound softness that makes our breed so special. I’d be happy living in a home with children over five years old, as long as they’re kind and understand that I’ll need a little space and quiet while I settle into home life.
So, if you’re looking for a sweet, adorable young companion who will happily trot straight into your heart, remember the name Giddy Up.
I might just be your girl.
Love, Giddy Up xx 🐾
