Meet Sailor, a clever, cheeky companion who likes to be right where the action is.

Currently in foster care with a loving family, Sailor has settled in beautifully and has shown himself to be a confident, people-focused boy who enjoys being part of daily life. He might not be a lap cat, but he will happily follow you from room to room and keep you company on the couch, always close by and quietly involved.

Sailor has a fun and playful side. He loves to engage with his people and has a cheeky habit of gently swiping at your feet as you walk past, all in the name of play. He’s also quite the smart cookie and already knows how to sit, and can even sit pretty up on his back legs when treats are involved.

Food time is one of Sailor’s favourite parts of the day. He enjoys both biscuits and wet food, although he can get a little too enthusiastic. Using a slow feeder has worked really well for him, helping him pace himself and keep everything settled.

Sailor did experience a recent health scare with a urinary tract infection, and he is now thriving on a veterinary diet designed to support his ongoing urinary health. Because of this, he will need a home that is committed to continuing this diet and comfortable managing the associated costs to help keep him feeling his best.

Sailor would suit a home looking for an engaging, affectionate presence rather than a constant cuddler. He brings personality, companionship, and a little bit of cheek, making him a really rewarding cat to have around.

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
