Boof

Boofhead is a goofy boy with a good heart who just wants a family to love and settle down with. Do not let his age fool you – he has the enthusiasm and energy of a much younger dog! Boof is very affectionate and loyal and loves to cuddle up at night and relax. He can be a little scared of thunder and fireworks so needs some understanding about this.

Boof loves to play with toys and is particularly ball focused. He would be a great fit for an owner who wants a buddy to play fetch with. While he never tires of playing, if he sees you clearly put the toys away and tell him that’s it, he will have a rest.

Boof walks well on the lead and is eager to please. He is great with basic commands and sometimes just needs a bit of guidance learning what is expected of him. We are sure once he has settled in to his new home he will be a star pupil.

Boof is currently in foster care with two other large dogs and while they are all friendly, he is quite independent - choosing to focus more on his humans rather than playing with his furry friends though he does seem to enjoy having them around. We believe he would be happy with or without furry companions.

Boofhead is a really lovely dog who will make a wonderful companion.
