About Duke
Duke is a 10 week old Dacshound X puppy with a gentle, thoughtful little soul with the sweetest, most expressive eyes. He’s quietly affectionate and happiest when he’s close to his people — watching, listening, and then leaning in for reassurance.
Duke is:
• calm and observant
• soft-natured and people-focused
• affectionate without being demanding
He enjoys:
• curling up on soft blankets
• calm company and gentle play
• nibbling on safe puppy chews and treats
• quietly following you from room to room
Duke is already comfortable using a dog flap, which gives him a great start with independence and toilet training.
🐾 A little about his mum
Duke’s mum was rescued from a pound and, just hours after arriving in safety, gave birth to 9 healthy puppies. Despite her uncertain past, she is affectionate, gentle, and trusting — and Duke clearly carries that same calm, loving nature.
Duke has had the best possible start since rescue and has been raised in a calm, caring home environment.
Duke would suit:
• a quieter household
• someone looking for a gentle companion
• a home that values connection, routine, and patience
He’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply and stays close — a steady little presence who will grow into a loyal, loving companion
