Adoption information
About Wallace
Wallace is a calm, happy-go-lucky little kitten who's happy to go with the flow. Nothing really phases him. If there are a bunch of kids over at his foster home, he's happy to play and hang with them, and if it all becomes a bit much for him, he'll just take himself off for a snooze.
He loves snuggling up in bed and having a pat, or being picked up and cradled like a baby. He gets on fabulously with the other cats and kittens in his foster home. Even the newbies who might hiss at him, he looks at like "What are you on about? You'll get over it!"
His brother Gromit was quite nervous when he came into care (Wallace was chill from Day 1), and Wallace did a great job of comforting him and being a calm role model for him. We're happy to report that Gromit is now just as smoochy as Wallace.
Wallace is so easy going that really any house would suit him. He's up for pretty much anything!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
