About Rhys
*In foster care in Surry Hills, Sydney*
Gorgeous grey gentleman Rhys is a sweet fellow with a calm, friendly demeanour and a soft spot for human company! A good day for Rhys consists of cosy naps, fun play sessions with his toys, and being his foster carers' little shadow as they do chores around the house or relax on the couch :)
The perfect mix of sociable and independent, Rhys is content to entertain himself while you're at work and enjoy some loving pats (and hopefully some interactive playtime too) when you get home. This easygoing boy will thrive with people who value quiet affection and are happy to respond in kind!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Rhys is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm not a lap cat, but human love and company are absolute musts for me! There's nothing I like more than spending time with you, either snuggled close on the couch or flopped at your feet (often on my back, paws waving in the air - it's my signature move!).
I always look forward to pats and playtime when you get home from work or a social event, so keep those coming too please. And a nice screened window or door where I can sit and catch the breeze would also be very well received!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I spend most of my time snoozing, but I adore a good play with my toys as well - especially of a morning and evening (and even better when you join in)!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I try to be gentle, I can get quite enthusiastic when playing - so ideally my new family will be adults only. Older kids (10+) who understand my play style might be suitable.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get along well with other cats! I haven't met any dogs while in care.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
